Services & supports for families with a special need or disability

Find free activities and workshops hosted by a wide range of experts including Speech Language Pathologists (SLP), Occupational Therapists, Psychoeducators, and more!  We also offer mental health and wellbeing check-ins for adults who need a listening ear, as well as an information and referral service for families who need help accessing health and social services within the Outaouais.

Let’s Play & Talk Kits for Families with Children 0-5

You can now borrow one of our Let’s Play & Talk Kits from from four of our partners in the MRC des Collines and at our Connexions office in Aylmer (Gatineau).

The Kits include speech & language resources, games and children’s books.

Family Resource Series

Our Family Resources Series offers a wide range of topics for families with children, and the professionals who work with them.  Special guests include professionals from the CISSS de l’Outaouais, school staff at the Western Quebec School Board, social workers and Speech-Language Pathologists.  Find out more!

Word Play Workshops

Our series of Parent-Child Workshops are facilitated by Speech Language Pathologists who offer hands-on support for families whose child may have a speech or communication delay or disability. This series of workshops is based on CHEO’s First Words program.
