International Women’s Day

Every year, Connexions joins the global chorus on International Women’s Day as we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women! We can all help forge a gender equal world by celebrating women’s achievements, raising awareness against bias & taking action for equality. Let’s do our bit to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding by focusing our attention on areas requiring further action.

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

Every year, from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10 (World Human Rights Day), Canadians observe the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. It is an opportunity to come together to call out, speak up and renew our commitment to end gender-based violence.
